You may have known me as the associate curator of photographs at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, however in 2011 I resigned that position, after more than thirty years at the museum. I am now writing independently in the history of photography and selling out-of-print photography books.
I issue about three catalogs a year, usually with themes. My inventory of books and ephemera is wide-ranging and I also maintain a small stock of original photographic prints. I am always interested in hearing about your specific interests and about items you may wish to sell.

All items subject to prior sale.
Customers known to me will be invoiced. Others add shipping ($5 for each book within the U.S.) and write your check to “Christian Peterson,” drawn on a U.S. bank.
Books may be returned within ten days, with prior notice and if received in the condition sent.
